V-Rake Teeth Support System

What does VRTS System stand for and what does it do?

VRTS System stands for V-Rake Teeth Support System. It is a system that has been developed over many years to reduce repeated breaking and bending of the teeth on a V-Rake or side delivery while raking feedstuffs (alfalfa, hay, cornstalks, heavy forage, etc…).

Check out the video on the right, it has anoverview of the VRTS System and how it all works.

What can the VRTS System do for you?

The VRTS System has been designed to provide crucial support for rake teeth to reduce teeth breaking or bending. The system will:

  • Reduce down time & labor costs caused by broken or bent teeth
  • Result in less vibration of teeth in wheel ring reducing wear that often causes teeth to fail
  • Reduce the number of broken teeth that end up in bales and ultimately ingested by livestock
  • Provide improved rake efficiency in heavy or light hay, resulting in more feed per acre

Does this work on all V-Rakes?

By clicking this link or going through the “ordering by rake brand” from the menu above, you will find a list of currently supported rakes. If your rake is not listed, this does not necessarily mean the VRTS System will not fit your rake. We are in the process of verifying the correct part to fit rakes currently not listed on our products page. If your rake is not listed, please contact us and we will work with you to fit your rake with the VRTS System.
